A French friend, she said I shall download this app cuz there were many French contents on here for me to learn. I'm an A1 in French anyways but I'm learning fast so my technique is to involve myself on French app, so I can understand how French people casually talk

If I google translate more in French, they would still think I'm a bot. I give up, Imma speak English to whoever talk to me also. @anli So I'm self learning French. I have just started to learn last month and the way I teach myself is to see how French people talk. A friend of mine, I've met her on a language learning app. She told me that I could come here and read how people write and interact on this app so I can understand more. I also subscribe to French youtube channels, facebook groups, instagram pages but it's still not enough. So I think why not give this app a try and my first experience here is not that good as you can see

@Mimiore: You're welcome. You can post as much as you want and whatever you want (if you follow the rules of the group you are posting in).
You earn points when people are upvoting your posts or comments. You should be able to reply to people tho. The only thing you can't do is downvoting posts because this is a new account.

Don't delete your post. Some people are just old and grumpy. You have bad apples everywhere and some are also here.

@speeder Sorry for being troublesome. I don't know why I can't message you, I tried to do it on my laptop also but it said my account wasn't sufficient for that feature. I just wanna say thanks again for standing up for me (not just for me but maybe also for other new members). I still don't understand why they are being harsh to me. Is it because they think I'm a bot? Or is it because I spam posting? Or is it just my fake name similiar to someone else? I admit my posts are not that funny to their expectation but I thought I could post in that group because I have a lot of cat pics and videos to share. I see that the group is inactive, so I just wanna make it alive again as a newcomer.

I have replied in English to some people that I'm still learning French(my level is A1), so I'm using google translate but some sentences I can understand on my own. However, I can't reply back in fluent French because I really don't have that level of understanding yet. I know that this is a French app, so I could expect people will mostly talk in French and I come here to learn. I can talk about anything but I just don't have that level of French to talk about politics or news like they do. For now, I just come here to post about cats and learn the language. I'm not interested in talking about politics or something serious. As I said, I'm not French and I don't live in France. So maybe my humour is not to their liking. I also get recommended by my friend to try this app.

Talking about me having similiar name to someone else, I 100% can guaranteed you that I'm different person. Why would I put up this facade of me writing in English just to troll? Everytime I post cat pics, I try to write in French for the caption because I hope I could fit in.
